Refurbished Cabinet from Ivanka's little treasures-Black and White Design

My new project is this brown older looking cabinet I bought in Goodwill. I took all hardware off and painted it the same way as the cabinet using the chalk paint. I used a power sander to sand the shiny finish off. Then I glued air dried clay embellishments all over the cabinet, just how I planned. It took me a few weeks to make all the embellishments, but that will be in a different tutorial. When the glue dried I started painting. First I painted the whole cabinet using black chalk paint and when it dried I used white chalk paint and softly brushed over every part. After the white paint dried I used wax as a finish to protect the cabinet from scratching and to give it a smooth feel to the touch. I attached all the hardware back to place and HOORAY, new beautiful distressed cabinet is here !!!!!
